About Me
I am Trong Truong - a data analyst working at the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). Before joing VCCI in 2019, I was a research analyst at Mekong Development Research Institute (MDRI) (2017-2019) and a chief researcher at Economica (2013-2017).
As the nature of my job, I have engaged intensively in data-related work, especially data collection and data management, for NGO’s and governmental projects. I possess rich experience in developing survey tools, executing quality control and producing final datasets.
The world is changing at a rapid pace and data is now more important than ever in various aspects of our work and life. I find there is a wide, wide world out there and so many things I can learn, see and do with a data-driven approach.
Therefore, I create this Dear Data blog with a simple purpose to make it a place where I can jot down my notes about how I use data analysis and visualization to discover (and understand) more about the world around me.
